Q.01Paint correction or ceramic coating — which one do I need?
They do different jobs. Paint correction is polishing: it takes swirl marks, light scratches and haze out of the paint. A ceramic coating is protection: it adds gloss and makes the paint easier to keep clean, but it doesn't remove defects. The best finish usually comes from correcting the paint first and coating it after. Send us a photo and we'll tell you what your car needs.
Q.02What does a clay bar actually do?
Washing takes off loose dirt. What stays behind is bonded grit — rail dust, overspray, tree sap residue — that makes paint feel rough even when it looks clean. The clay lifts it out, so the surface comes out smooth and ready for polish or coating.
Q.03Why a hand wash instead of an automatic car wash?
Tunnel brushes drag grit from the last hundred cars across your paint, and that is where most swirl marks come from. A hand wash controls the pressure and keeps the dirt off the panels, so the finish stays clean for longer.
Q.04How long does a detail take?
It depends on the size of the vehicle, its condition and the services you pick. A wash is quick; paint correction and coatings take longer because every stage has to be finished properly. Tell us what you want and we'll give you a time before we start.
